Technical Project Manager
As part of the software product management team, you will serve as a dedicated Project Manager, responsible for complete project management on client engagements and internal task forces that have a heavy technology component. This position will lead web and software development and integration projects from conceptualization through implementation and acceptance testing. Requires daily task and timeline management of resources in graphic/UI design, content creation, information architecture, software development, networks and infrastructure, and SQA testing. This is a client facing role.
Responsibilities
- Actively participate in initial scoping of projects and resource estimates
- Work with product management team and clients to define business requirements, information requirements, performance requirements, security requirements (e.g. access control) and legal requirements (e.g. customer privacy)
- Manage large-scale software integration and customization projects.
- Help identify and implement improvements in workflow efficiency

Information Architect - Business Analyst
In this role you will work closely with the web applications product team in developing and executing a comprehensive strategy for our online products. The ideal candidate for the position of information architect is a creative and/or analytical thinker; this person should be able to contribute to the creation of imaginative interface designs that are intuitive, aesthetically pleasing and technically feasible. Excellent organizational, written and oral communication skills are a must. Ideal candidates will have experience in user research, interaction design/prototyping and/or evaluation.
Primary responsibilities include:
- Researching and defining users goals, needs and characteristics
- Defining web applications site architecture and navigation that serves as a blueprint of the site upon which all other aspects are built
- Developing and documenting detailed information architectures, taxonomies and interaction designs for highly interactive interfaces and web based applications to support marketing strategy, brand strategy, and desired user behaviors
- Creating and contributing to the user interface (UI) and system requirements (metadata) for content management (CM), Knowledge Management (KM), Web Publishing (WP), and Search solutions.

Requires demonstrated experience with a number of commonly used techniques such as conduction task analysis, interviews, observation, questionnaires, concurrent and retrospective protocols, prototyping (hi or lo-fi), participatory design, flowcharting, site mapping, analytical and empirical usability evaluations. An understanding of how marketing and branding issues impact interface design is also desirable.

The HNW Publisher team is looking for a talented, team-oriented engineer to join our team. We are looking for individuals with a strong software engineering backgrounds specializing in web application framework and/or middle-tier Java/systems experience.
Engineers will be working on the breadth of the HNW Publisher Platform including web services, cluster management, and data acquisition.

- Strong XML knowledge. An ideal candidate is capable of designing an XML Schema. Good knowledge of XML parser types and capabilities. JAXB 2 knowledge a plus.
- An excellent command of the Java language.
- Demonstrative experience developing J2EE applications. Knows how to create an EJB and Web application. Experience with JBoss AS 4.x is ideal. Experience with Java 5 EE technologies a plus.
