Vice President, Marketing Strategy

The job of the vice president of Strategy is to lead client engagements by understanding client business and marketing goals, consulting on best practices, and facilitating the execution process. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing key strategic deliverables, such as market, segment and SWOT analyses, and for synthesizing this information into core messaging and positioning for client engagements. Once a strategic direction has been established, he or she will develop marketing plans that consider a range of tactics and channels—both digital and print. Collaborating closely with our creative, editorial and technology teams, he or she will work with our project management team to ensure that work is completed on time and on budget.

Because of their key relationship management role, successful candidates must demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills and feel comfortable presenting and rationalizing deliverables. Moreover, we require that our strategists maintain a strong point of view about topics and trends that are germane to our industry and that they stay abreast of current events that affect our clients.
