Senior Designer, Interactive and Mobile

The Senior Designer, Interactive & Mobile falls within our new interactive group – a team that combines sound business strategy with creative energy, technology savvy and efficient execution practices.  With this collaborative spirit as the foundation of our efforts, we are looking to identify a new generation of creative leaders and innovators – individuals who understand the opportunity of this medium, and want to participate in a growing concern. We are looking for people who excel at creative problem solving, and are eager to help nurture and shape our interactive practice.


Candidate must have:

  • Proven experience as an Interactive and Mobile Designer
  • Minimum of 8  years of interactive experience, including: concept development, Website design, Mobile Applications,  identity design, animated product demonstrations and tutorials, online marketing campaign development and social media
  • Strong B to B experience
  • A portfolio of award-winning interactive and mobile work that includes examples of B to B work (financial services or pharmaceutical a plus)
  • Experience in producing a range of creative approaches (from retail to corporate to sophisticated/elegant) based on target audience/business needs
  • Demonstrated ability to translate and evolve traditional offline brands in the online world
  • Expertise in maintaining creative/brand continuity and quality and work within corporate brand guidelines
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to back ideas with sound logic
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the interactive and mobile trends and best practice
  • Deep knowledge of Mobile UX and IA principles.
  • Experience with Native app design:  experience with fully native apps on iPhone and ideally on multiple platforms, especially Android
  • Experience with Native app controls:  how standard controls (like the tab bar on iPhone) work, and what the constraints are (also related: familiarity with Apple UX guidelines)
  • Experience with Webviews:  integration of mobile web pages into native apps
  • Proficient to expert in: Photoshop and Illustrator.
  •  Knowledge of HTML 5 and CSS3, particularly pseudo-native functions like CSS transitions, and how they work when integrating native views and webviews
